Slip And Fall Injury Lawyer
When involved in a slip and fall (or trip and fall), sometimes prospective clients think they are automatically entitled to present a claim. Sometimes they are and sometimes they aren't. As your slip and fall injury
lawyer I'd like to talk about a few things.
If someone is on another's property and gets hurt because of their own fault such as tripping over their own two feet or they walked into a fixed object that they clearly could have seen, then that's really the individual's fault, not the property owner's fault. You have to show some sort of negligence on the part of the property owner.
In some instances it may be a defective condition on the property about which the land owner knew or should have known and failed to correct. You can be in a store and there can be a roof that's leaking, water has accumulated on the floor and someone slipped and fell on it. The land owner didn't want to spend the money to fix the roof and now instead someone gets hurt. That may be a case.
The other question regarding a slip and fall that people wonder about is, how am I going to get medical care? First, if you have health insurance, generally you can get your medical care through your health insurance. If you don't have health insurance and the landowner has what is known as medical payments coverage, you might be able to get some of your medical bills paid through the medical payments provision of that land owner's insurance policy. And then, finally, if none of those are available and if truly there is some negligence on the part of the land owner, then you can hopefully work with a doctor who will agree to treat you and hold off on billing you until the resolution of the case. But these are clearly questions that should be answered by an Injury Lawyer who has experience in this field.

At the bottom of this page you will find a link to a very funny animated video simulation of an exam by an insurance company doctor in an injury case. I highly recommend you watch it (its only a couple of minutes) not only because ....
