Brian D. Guralnick, Esquire – Founder and Managing Partner
My first encounter into the area of injury law unfortunately happened when my own mother’s malignant melanoma skin cancer was misdiagnosed by a local doctor. By the time the melanoma was properly diagnosed, the cancer had spread throughout her body and ultimately killed her. From this experience, I discovered that you need to do your own research, learn the medicine, and become a strong advocate. I was so passionate in my personal fight, that I decided I wanted to help out other inured accident victims.
After law school, I started out my legal career working for two prominent injury law firms. However, I learned that many large injury law firms did not give their clients and their cases the appropriate attention. Therefore, in 1998, I started my own law firm and accumulated an amazing, talented, and caring team with plenty of resources to take on the biggest insurance companies, such as State Farm, Allstate, GEICO, and Progressive.
What sets apart is that we get to know our clients and their cases on a personal level. Most of my team members consider each other like family, and we feel the same way with most of our clients. In my opinion, it is this combination of personal attention, along with the skill, passion, and resources, that enables to recover millions of dollars each year for our clients.
In my spare time, I enjoy working out, playing poker, skiing, good food and wine…and of course playing with our office dog. I also enjoy staying active in the community. I have been on the board of directors for various local charities, assisted many local political leaders, and I have been appointed to several city committees.

Samuel R. Guelli, Esquire – Litigation Partner
With over 20 years experience, Sam is an accomplished trial attorney. In fact, Sam has been designated by the bar as a Board Certified Civil Trial Lawyer. Only 1% of all lawyers have achieved this prestigious designation which entitles him to be called an “expert” in this area of law. He has aggressively fought for victim’s rights while a criminal prosecutor for several years in both Palm Beach County, and New York. Sam also worked for a few years defending insurance companies, however, he quickly realized his true passion was representing people, not big corporations.
Since that time Sam has been exclusively fighting on behalf of injured accident victims in Palm Beach County, where he now resides. Sam’s unique background as both a prosecutor, as well as defending insurance companies, has given him the advantage of knowing inside information on how injury cases are fought.
We are very fortunate to have Sam as part of our team. In addition to his skills as an injury trial lawyer, Sam is a dedicated, hard-working, and compassionate man. He really cares about his clients by getting them the best medical and financial result for their injuries. Sam lives in West Palm Beach and is the proud father to his adult children Emily and Jake.
Sam has been actively involved in his community, where he has coached baseball, football, and has been a speaker at his church.
Guy C. Icangelo, Jr. – Sr. Trial Attorney
Guy grew up in central New Jersey and graduated from Emerson College in Boston, Massachusetts in 1982. While working in a variety of jobs from the factory floor to crews and location scouting for commercials, small films and documentaries in Boston and New York, Guy and his wife started their family in Boston. They soon moved to Miami where Guy attended The University of Miami School of Law, graduating in 1995. While in law school, Guy was involved in leadership roles in student organizations, culminating in being elected by his peers as President of the Moot Court Board.
In 1996, Guy, moved to Palm Beach County where he started practice defending doctors, nurses, hospitals, and nursing homes for the next ten years. After learning the defense side working for insurance companies, Guy moved to the Plaintiff’s side where he happily fights insurance companies every day. “I take great pride in representing people who have been injured as the result of others’ negligence. When the insurance companies take a stand and deny all fault on the part of their insured or minimize my client’s pain and suffering as if it does not matter, it only strengthens my resolve to obtain a great result for my clients.”
Fatima C. Ferreira – Sr. Case Manager
Fatima has over 20 years of personal injury experience and has been with our firm since May 2006. She gets extreme satisfaction knowing she helps our clients get fully compensated. She keeps on the legal pulse by regularly attending attorney and judicial seminars and doing inordinate amounts of legal research. On a more personal level, Fatima was born in Portugal and moved to Boston when she was 12 years old. She is tri-lingual and speaks Portuguese, English, and Spanish. Fatima has been married for 25 years to a Sergeant with the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office and has a son and daughter, both in their twenties. She has a labrador retriever rescued from the pound and 2 cats. Her other passions include most outdoor activities, including going to the beach, picnics, walks and bicycling.
Samantha E. Scalpi – Sr. Litigation Paralegal
Samantha – As a former client, Samantha is uniquely qualified to be a Case Manager. This country’s largest motor vehicle insurance company refused to offer Samantha a fair settlement for the injuries she sustained from a car crash. They disputed her case on every ground including the cause of her injuries to who was at fault. They tried to bully her into accepting a settlement that would not have even paid her medical bills.
We supported Samantha and took her case to trial, wherein one of the insurance industries’ most notorious attorneys tried to break her down and cry. But Samantha and our trial team proved to the jury that their insured client was responsible for causing both the crash and Samantha’s injuries. They awarded an amount over 10 times what the insurance company initially offered as a settlement.
This experience gave Samantha the passion and commitment to help our clients fight for what they deserve. Samantha is always a positive burst of energy. When Samantha is not busy fighting for others, she enjoys being playful around the office and going out with her friends. She loves to dance and helps others with their fitness as a certified Zumba instructor.
Amelia M. Sanabria – Office Administrator
Amelia is our Office Administrator and an “IT extraordinaire” and has been with our firm since 2006. She made the switch from the medical field because she wanted to grow professionally and heard great reviews about Brian and his law firm from a reputable medical company. Amelia moved to from Massachusetts in 2001, and is still a huge Boston Red Sox fan. She also enjoys pilates, belly dancing, and teaching her infant daughter to become tri-lingual in English, Spanish, and Portuguese.
