Background
My journey into personal injury law began in a deeply personal and heartbreaking way. When my mother’s malignant melanoma skin cancer was misdiagnosed, the delay in proper treatment allowed the cancer to spread throughout her body, ultimately taking her life. This devastating experience taught me an invaluable lesson: you must research, understand the medical facts, and fight fiercely for what’s right.
That fight became my passion—and my profession. After law school, I worked at two prominent personal injury firms, but I quickly saw the downside of “high-volume” law. Too often, clients were treated like numbers, not people. In 1998, I founded my own firm with a different mission: to give every client the personal attention they deserve while bringing the skill, resources, and determination to take on even the biggest insurance companies—State Farm, Allstate, GEICO, Progressive, and more.
At our firm, we know our clients personally. We listen. We care. We treat each other—and our clients—like family. This combination of personal connection, passion, and resources has helped us recover millions of dollars each year for injured accident victims.
Outside of work, I’m a devoted husband to my wife Ligia and a hands-on father to our daughters, Sienna and Aria. I also serve as Vice President of the Richard David Kann Melanoma Foundation, dedicated to raising awareness about skin cancer prevention and early detection in schools across Florida and beyond.
